| | 03.07.08 CRMA National Conference Approaching By Doug Caverly
If you live near Atlanta, or are in the mood to do a little traveling, prepare yourself: the Customer Relationship Management Association National Conference will be held on April 1st and 2nd.
The theme of this year's conference is "Deepening The Customer Experience." Attending for a single day will cost $99; 150 bucks will get you in on both Tuesday and Wednesday. The official website states that around 350 people are already scheduled to attend, and there should be at least 20 speakers, so this looks to be a relatively sizable event.
It also looks like a relatively significant one. Of the 20 speakers, David Sims focused in on Paul Greenberg, noting, "CRM professionals throughout the world subscribe to Greenberg's blogs, podcasts and read his books and articles. He is one of the industry's most sought after speakers and author of CRM at the Speed of Light: Essential Customer Strategies for the 21st Century."
"C-level executives and industry luminaries" hailing from the NBA Seattle Supersonics, UPS, Wachovia, the American Cancer Society, and Coca-Cola will be present, as well. Granted, the execs could be more important, but the companies couldn't.
So long as issues of time and money aren't a major concern, this conference should be worth checking out.
