We'll be leaning a little heavy on the coding side of things today for our newsletter. Mainly because I feel we all to often get caught up on the search optimization side of things, and forget that WebProWorld has a broader range of subjects. It's time to take a step back and explore more of what WebProWorld has to offer. Don't worry though, I haven't left out you SEO fans.
Our featured post today comes from RawFunk. He, like many, wonders if PR is still a major factor in search results. Should any one still be concerned about what their Page Rank is at the moment? We've had this discussion plenty of times, but it seems to be very popular with people around the forum.
As for the remaining posts, the first asks for help fixing table padding on a site in IE and FireFox. The next post asks for help building a form that can allow files to be uploaded. Today's final post asks for help fixing style sheet code for href tags.

 Is PR still relevant?
Over the past 12 months or so I've entered into my fair share of debates on this topic. Primarily with those who are not directly connected to an SEO business, but who do perform SEO work on their own commercial web sites.
When Google first introduced its PR I was a strong advocate, spending a lot of time concentrating more on achieving high PR. As time went by I started to realize that although having PR6+ sites was great, 9 times out of 10 sites that held far less PR were beating me in the SERPS.
Today I don't have the Google tool bar on any of my browsers; I don't pay any attention to it. My site or my client's sites all rank well and achieve top 10 SERPs with little or no linking strategies. They actually beat high PR weighted sites in highly competitive keywords/phrases.
Which brings me back to my initial question, is PR still relevant? Personal I don't think it is.

I am very new to designing websites; normally I designed magazine adverts so I have had to learn many new tools. The main area I have been working on is JOOMLA. I would like feedback on 3 areas, functionality and navigation, general design, and what else could be added to give it the edge.

Table Display in FireFox Problem
I have a website that I've worked on, an obvious monster template but anyways, if you view this page: http://www.regencybuildinggroup.com/fence-and-decks-gallery.php.
You can see that in FireFox the table padding doesn't quite sit as nice as it does in Internet Explorer. Can someone give me some direction on how I could make the padding of the table look exactly the same in FireFox as it does in Internet Explorer?
Every help will do and thanks so much in advance...

Help with "Upload File" and simple form
Very much a newb here - I'm doing a site for a plaque maker and need a place to where customers can submit info. I'd like a text area box to submit verbiage and also a file uploader (where they hit Browse, then select the art from their files). Then one submit button for both. After that the files are emailed to us.
I'm having trouble locating info on how to do this correctly. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Link color problem

The "Solutions" page should have links that are bold yellow in color because they are on a dark page background (per client request - not mine). The links on the Products and FAQ pages (which are white background) also has its links in yellow - which won't work, because you lose the words. I just wanted them standard blue underline links that are suppose to be default.
If someone could look over the site and the CSS and tell me what stupid thing I did wrong, it would be greatly appreciated.
