Maximize Your Mac

By Dan Morrill

Sometimes you just run across some guy in the back room that is writing about something they love, and Max the Mac is one of those under sung folks who is busy writing about the Apple Mac, the cool stuff you can download, buy, or otherwise make work on your apple computer.

If I would ever unpack the apple computer that I have under my desk, this would be the first place I would go (although it has been almost a year, and it is still in its original packaging). While we are all about maximizing what is good information and what is bad information, in the apple Mac blog scene, there are some dominate blogs, that do great, but they feel like "machine generated" blogs. Max the Mac, human side and human touch on this one.

This is a quirky blog, with everything from what are the top five bittorrent clients for mac, to trivia questions, which is what makes it fun and engaging. Of course he has logged into just about every social networking system out there, and he is a relative new kid on the block. As well he is going head to head against the Unofficial Apple Weblog, and a host of other apple blogs out there.

Worth checking out in the longer run of all the many apple blogs out there, there is something nice, clean and honest about this one. New bloggers sometimes make the best blogs, they have not figured out the "chase the herd" mentality yet, and often provide the best sources of neat fresh viewpoint and information.
